2008 Exhibits & Events

The Foundation presents four exhibits each year at the William H. Thomas Gallery.  Each exhibit runs for ten weeks and is launched with an Opening Reception on the third Sunday of the named month from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

February 2008:  BROTHERS FROM CINCINNATI

Ken.Leslie.Collages.Collaged.jpg BROTHERS FROM CINCINNATI featuring Kenneth Leslie, James Kwame Clay, Cedric Cox and Kor Kor January.

ARTIST STATEMENT

In my work, color, lines, shape, depth and contrast represent textural motions of music and the polarity between expansion and contraction. The images and icons I use are improvisational representations; dreams that dance between various layers of awareness. The colorful moralistic renderings of graffiti-like images speak to the spiritual condition of the world today.

SACRED GEOMETRY: The Architecture of the Universe

Sacred Geometry is literally the architecture of the Universe; God's first and purest language; a language which opens and centers the mind. I am a shamanic artist dedicated to the evolution of human consciousness. My SG Workshops are designed to introduce the fabulous and unchanging perfection of this natural language to my fellow seekers of spiritual truth and beauty.”     –Charles Gilchrist
